  • Once registered, you will receive SBI Net Banking activation kit via speed post.

  • Since you are entering for the first time, you need to care of following things User ID, Password & Profile Password.
  • Once entering SBI official website, you need to click Login under Personal Banking
  • Then, click Continue to Login
  • Then enter User ID and Password – provided in online banking activation kit from SBI.
  • Hit Log In Button
  • Once logged in successfully, you need to create User Name & Password
  • Also, you need to create “Profile Password”, additional security option to secure your online transaction.




By completing this process, now you are ready to use SBI online banking. It is recommended to keep your User Name, Password and Profile Password very secure and not revealed to third party for security reasons.

Activate SBI banking Online – without Visiting Bank

With advancement in technology, now it is possible to register for SBI Internet banking online without visiting the bank. Unlike earlier method, SBI account holder no need to have “online banking Activation kit”. Follow these steps for SBI online banking activation.

To activate your SBI online banking, you need to two important things.

  • Your Registered Mobile Number
  • State Bank Debit Card

Step 2: At login dashboard, Click New User? Register here.

Step 4: Now, a small window will open, you need to fill all mandatory information.

  • Account Number: Enter here your account number correctly.
  • CIF Number: check your passbook or search online
  • Branch Code: check your passbook or search online
  • Country : choose “India”
  • Mobile number: Enter your registered mobile number that linked with your account.
  • Facility Required: Select ‘Full Transactions Rights”




Step 5: complete the verification process by entering Captcha and click Submit.

Step 6:  once completed, you will receive OTP password on your registered mobile. Enter the OTP in next screen.

Step 7: In next screen, you will be promoted with two options

  • I have my ATM card (Online registration without branch visit).
  • I do not have my ATM card (INB activation by branch).

Step 8: Next you need to choose I have my ATM Card (online registration without branch visit) and click Submit

Step 9: In next screen, you will be asked to make Rs. 1 transaction to validate your debit card

  • Card Number
  • Name on Card
  • Expiry Date
  • Pin Number
  • Complete verification

Step 10: click Pay

Step 11: After successful payment, you will see temporary User Name and enter your login password.

Step 12: You will receive temporary User Name and Password (very similar to PP Kit).

SBI Internet Banking Profile Password

  • Once entering SBI official website, you need to click Login under Personal Banking
  • Then, click Continue to Login
  • Then enter User ID and Password – provided in online banking activation kit from SBI.
  • Hit Log In Button
  • Once logged in successfully, you need to create User Name & Password
  • Also, you need to create “Profile Password”, additional security option to secure your online transaction.
  • Your Net banking is now activated. You can enter to login dashboard, enter new User Name and Password and start using SBI online transaction.
